ORTHOSES

Orthosis is used to describe a single, rigid or semi-rigid device that supports a weak or deformed body part or restricts or eliminates motion in a diseased or injured part of the body. Patients like Paraplegia, Polio, Foot drop, Ankle injury or deformity, Osteo arthritic Knee, Hyper extension of knee and hip disorders, also Lumbar, Thoracic or Cervical Spine problems along with Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Fingers

PED ORTHOSES

A foot pad or heel insert purchased at your local pharmacy or sporting goods store is also a Ped orthoses. So is a custom-molded , individually designed shoe inserts with Deep heel cups, Medial longitudinal arch support, Metatarsal bar or pad, Pressure released at a desired point, Medial or Lateral wedge. Ped orthosis like these are frequently used to treat various deformities of the foot like Pes-cavus, Flat foot, Hallux-valgus, Metatarsalgia, Hammer or claw toes, Calcaneal spur.
